Kate Reyes just turned a year older (she can afford to say that) yesterday! Sure enough, BAT will be celebrating with a mini kiddie party this afternoon. Rumors are that there'll be...a clown?!

The Cannes Experience

It would've been fun if everyone could make it to Cannes but in lieu of that, here's a walk-through video simulating the Cannes experience, prepared by the guys who went.

The film takes you into the Palais de Festival, through the registration and delegates area, around the massive, finalists' exhibit hall (where you'll see walls and walls of entries,) into the TV entries screening auditorium and across a few seminars. From there, it tours you around town, stops by the topless beach before finishing up at the Awards night and Gala.

Welcome to JWT, Jos!

The big day has arrived! Jos Ortega officially takes over as JWT Manila's new CEO and no, he will not be renaming the company to Jos Walter Thompson (you can still hold on to those calling cards, fellas). In his first ever speech to the company, Jos gamely answered 15 questions from JWT employees--some personal, some silly and some serious, drawing laughs and thoughtful nods from the crowd. While he gave us a hint of the kind of person he is and what to expect from him, one thing was evident: his passion to help us discover, build and finally, live out our story-the JWT story.

So what exactly is the JWT story?

Now that, is something we're about to find out.

JWT's Hot, Hot Men!

Icel had the surprise of her life when this tribute video was played on the big screen at Commons during her birthday party last Friday! Shrieks, hoots, catcalls--you bet we couldn't get enough of this! Kudos to Lizanne for doing a fantastic job of compiling all the macho men dancing.

Move over, Barry White! These guys show us why working in JWT can be really worth it.

JWT is WPP's top Cannes agency

ECD Dave Ferrer and CD Joe Dy came back from the Cannes Lions Advertising Festival recently. In a word, they describe the experience as" Overwhelming." They will be sharing details and observations from the trip this afternoon at 5pm in the Main Boardroom.

In the Network of the Year rankings, JWT Worldwide finished number one among all WPP agencies, and was fourth overall. Global ECD Craig Davis served as jury chairman for the Press and Film categories.

That's right, folks! JWT will officially have WI-FI up and running sometime this month. All you laptop users can now finally rejoice!

In time for his grand debut this coming Monday, Jos d'Boss, in collaboration with Juice Water Tinapay, is collating the Top 10 Things You'd Love To Know About Jos (But Don't Have The Nerve To Ask!). You can ask him anything—literally. Dying to know which movie actor he'd like to portray himself? His favorite color? Does he like throwing parties for his oh-so-wonderful colleagues? How many tequilla shots can he drink? What are his plans for the company?
